The ERP system's MRP module provided planned orders to fulfill customer demand but failed to address key issues. The solution analyzed the ERP’s supply and demand output, reviewed current inventory levels, and incorporated custom planning parameters. It determined how much to build, when to build it, and prioritized production to ensure that no inventory was diverted from existing orders.
